I kind of feel this card is cheating for Ky's Feeling Peeky MIX challenge because most of it was already on hand. I have another idea, but I'm very low on Scripture cards and in fact this will probably get mailed out next week.
Background was made a while back by laying a stencil on watercolour paper, misting, and sprinkling very lightly with Brushos. It bled a bit more than I planned, so it's sat in my box ever since. But the colours turned out to be a good match to go with this single bloom which was fading on my desk - I simply added the sentiment (embossed with clear EP) and the torn trellis, cut from white card and then painted with gesso to take the brightness away from it.
The edges were brushed with white acrylic and sprinkled with glitter.

Love the brusho! It looks like a trellis in the rain which brings flowers. That is one of my all-time favorite scriptures. Such loveliness! Thanks for playing - and yeah, I always think of you when I have a chance to post early.

LOVE that stenciled bg - beautiful backdrop for both the verse and your posie peeking through the broken lattice work. This goes into my fav's to remind me to try a variation of this.
