This is my card for Edna's HYCCT1527 challenge "Strength in Numbers" - using a MASKING TECHNIQUE to bring a group of people (or animals) together as the MAIN feature of your card. Since my cards won't be received before Halloween, I'm going to use this as my card for Tickle a Teapotter this week (Faith asked for anything Halloween related). I will substitute a card with a group as the main feature, but it won't require masking (grin).
I used post-its to create the masks for my critters, added a bit of coloring and scanned the image into Photoshop. I added the background and the speech/thought bubbles and printed it twice. One copy was used to fussy cut a part of each costume and all of the speech/thought bubbles. These were layered onto the main image, which was matted in orange and black before attaching to the card base.
I love how it turned out.
As always, thanks for looking!
