Did you know that over two-thirds of car-motorcycle crashes are caused by drivers, not by motorcyclists? The driver either does not see the oncoming motorcyclist at all or does not see the motorcyclist in time to avoid a crash. I'll never forget a film clip (and that tells you how long ago it was) I saw in Driver's Ed. It was as if you were the driver cruising down the road. There was a pencil held in your line of vision, and when it was moved aside, a motorcycle was right in front of the car. Okay, end of sermon, but please, look twice, because cars have bumpers, bikers have bones.
In case you haven't guessed it, this week TeaPot Tuesday is all about motorcycles and road safety. The teapotters are sending their cards to Neil, a 50 year old father of two who was left a quadriplegic after being rear-ended on his motorcycle.
I don't own any motorcycle stamps, so I cut up a piece of DP and outlined the edges with a gray Copic marker.

Hilda, thank you SO MUCH for including this lesson - one of my best friend's sons was killed on a motorcycle accident - he was only 20 - and all because someone forgot to LOOK TWICE-SAVE A LIFE! This will be Neil's mission promoting motorcycle awareness for the rest of his life - I am so inspired by his attitude, his forgiveness, and his commitment!
Your card, even without stamps, turned out amazing using the DP and the diamond plate EF - you done good!!
