Oh I got you with the title didn't I!!! Any Mustang Enthusiast would know what I meant....lol It seems that Saul needs a car and a guitar to make it on his own. I thought Saul should "GO IN STYLE" in this 1965 Ford Mustang. After all, he's going to be a "Star".
Baby you can drive my car
Yes, I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And Maybe I'll love you
Beep, beep'm, beep, beep yeah!
This car was popular the same time as the "Beatles". Even more popular today for those collectors out there. Go to any classic car show and you will see some awesome beauties.
I decided to keep the card monochromatic in shades of white, black, and gray in keeping with the inspiration photo for the teapot. The recipe as follows:
Spellbinders nesties- Beaded Circle and Large Circle
Cuttlebug - Diamond Plate embossing folder, Vintage Corner die cut
Sizzx- Flourish Corner #2 cut on from a cereal box and glittered with Martha Stewart Sterling Silver Glitter
Copics-C01, C03, C05 for shading the Mustang
Accessories-twine, star dust stickles, black ink for sponging on the beaded die cut
Our Destination Station is with Tom this week, so this card will be making it's way to Greeley, Colorado. I have to make another one just like it. It seems my Son who restores Mustang's since he was 15 is just over the moon for this card....lol He is going to compete for prizes and scholarships the end of this month at a Ford and AAA sponsored event and will be de-bugging a 2012 Mustang. I'll make another to give him to wish him luck the morning he leaves.
Thanks for stopping by!
NO PUNCHES-I can't believe it! This card took me 1 hour

What a fantastic card, and it brings back memories for me. I had a 68 Ford Mustang convertible! What a great car that was! I can see why you son liked this card so much!

Wow, Carol, no punches??? Seriously, this is one amazing card. Love the bling with the contrast of the twine...really cool. The sewing, texture and die are, well to die for! Best of luck to your son, sounds like he is really on his way to stardom in his own right. As Mother said, keep us appraised of his progress. TFS

I love the ef b/g - I finally just go this one - and that monochromatic look is perfect.
