You chose an interesting element, Julia, for todays' Ways to Use it. I love texture. And I knew I wanted to use this Diva Impressions image which includes a wonderful sentiment.
"I dropped a tear
in the ocean,
and whenever
they find it
I'll stop loving you,
only then."
I inked the stamp with various Nick Bantock inks directly onto white cs. I used white twine, dragging it through Tim Holtz 'weathered wood and frayed burlap to create the pier. The bird was stamped again in VersaMagic black and popped above the pier. The background paper is from Basic Grey Wisteria...it reminded me of drops. I added tiny shells from a recent trip to the coast. The card base is PTI Hawaiian Shores.
Thanks for having a look and I would love to know what you think of my take on the WT.

Wow twice - on your creative use of the twine to make that piling, and on that amazing sentiment. Any beach/seaside theme is always going to attract my attention and this one is so thought-provoking (like many of your cards).
