Hi! I just had to make this card for teapot tuesday!
My name is Elnora and this is my story: I've lived in the country all my life. Nature has always surrounded me with her beauty and taught me many lessons. But she didn't teach me how to get around in a big crowd of revelers!
I've come to New Orleans to visit my friend Marti. I didn't know there would be so many people here! With everyone milling about, with the parade going by, with trinkets flying through the air, and the general party atmosphere in the streets, I've lost my way! I just hope I can get there before it's too late!! Maybe I should ask someone for directions, but they all look so odd that I don't know if it's safe! Many people are wearing masks and not much else, so I'm getting kind of scared! There's a tiny juggler on one corner, but alas, he looks too busy to give me directions. But wait! There's a man who's friends are calling Harley (Harley Quin seems to be his full name); he looks nice so maybe I'll stop and ask him. "Sir, might I ask you the directions to my friend Marti's house?" I asked the stranger. "Marti? I don't know any Marti," he said with a sigh, and then began to cry! At least, there was a teardrop coming from one of his eyes....
Will Elnora make it to the party at Marti's house on time? Perhaps one of YOU can help her!?!
TFL and thanks for "listening" to Elnora's story! Have a wonderful Fat Tuesday!

What a totally amazing and wonderful art piece this card is - magnificent ribbon.
Agatha Christie wrote one book called The Mysterious Mr Quin, featuring Harley Quin - sounds as if you met him. It's one of my favourite of her books, totally different to her usual style.
As for Elnora, when she sees a cow coming down, that's where she should be heading...

Wonderful card! I love the trim behind the image. Poor Elnora has got to be terrified in a strange city at such a strange time of year! Just follow the parade - we're all headed to Marti's.
