Perfect combination of challenge and DH's Christmas present arriving today. I got him a little spotting scope, because he only has sight in one eye and can't use binoculars. When we were in Greece in the summer, he used a little stocking-filler monocular I got him years ago a LOT, so I thought I'd get a decent one for him. The robin on the tag is because we have a semi-tame robin, who will let use get within arm's reach of him, and will fly down the back step when I whistle and put some meal-worms out for him. You certainly don't need binoculars to see him - sometimes he's even too close for my camera to focus.
Punched tag, stamped Kodomo Winter Robin with markers for the robin and Warm Green chalk ink for the greenery. Added an eyelet and some ribbon after sponging in the background with distress inks.
