The silver ribbon is for mental health. The 3 different sizes of brads symbolizes how a person starts in treatment and they gradually get better until one day they have blossomed into the person they were meant to be.
This thank you card is for my family's psychiatrist. She has helped us through a difficult period in our lives revolving around events that started with me. I recently sat in a session with my son who has CP, depression, and high functioning autism... that's tough... or at least I thought. Wow! I was so amazed at how she was able to get him to talk. I'm in tears as I'm writing this. We were able to meet with his school team again with more specific information as to why he acted out as he did recently.

This is so beautiful and what an awesome thank you for your doctor. I have a daughter with Aspbergers and we didn't understand what was "wrong" with her until she was 14! Just knowing that there was a name for this and that I wasn't an awful mother was a HUGE relief!! It is a tough road but my daughter is now 18 and going to college! TFS!
