Cathy has challenged us to celebrate Earth Day by using earthy themes and colors. That was a perfect opportunity for me to work on my Sympathy card stash. I taped down a circle stencil onto a kraft card base and stamped the oak branch from Lovely As A Tree which I hadn't used until today. Then I sponged in some green and blue, colored with Spectrum Noirs, and added in some highlights with white gel pen and some random "splatter." After I took of the stencil, I realized that I had accidentally sponged the top of the card. Oops! Just a little extra character there
I'm glad to have found a use for that oak branch stamp and to be able to give it some love today.

I was so focused on your spotlighted image that I would never have noticed the smudge if you hadn't mentioned it. I really like the way you placed your sentiment straddling the spotlight.
