Cut dusty blue paper 11.75 x 5.75 and folded in half. Cut Brown paper was 6 x 5.5. Cut watercolor paper to measure 4.5 x 4.Did the reflection stamping technique on the smooth side of watercolor paper using the Staz-on ink using the group of trees stamp from Lovely as a Tree stamp set. Watercolored the water using Night of Navy, Garden Green for grass and So Saffron around bottom of the trees. Used distressed ink Stormy Sky for the sky color. Used Big Shot to emboss the tree pattern on the brown paper. Tore edges of brown paper to measure 5.5 x 5 and reflections scene watercolor paper to measure 4 x 4.5. Edged reflections scene and brown paper with gathered twigs ink. Used versa mark on ivory paper, stamped with Thinking of You stamp from Sincere Salutations and heat embossed it with embossing powder. Oval cut the verse and Edged with gathered twigs. Layered reflections scene paper to the embossed brown paper and layered on dusty blue cardstock. Attached the sentiment with dimensionals. Threaded buttons and knotted, attaching with multi medium matte. Added this sentiment to the inside: "Words seem inadequate for the deep sympathy we feel for you at this time. We are sorry for your loss."

Congratulations on your first upload to SCS, and this is a lovely sympathy card. It's probably the hardest of cards to make, but I know it will bring comfort to your friend. I've always loved this stamp set and never plan to part with it. Thanks for sharing all the details of how you made this card.
