Here's my card for Eula, posted it yesterday. It has a fresh-baked cake, since that's one of the things I've really missed since my mother died. Making your own cake just isn't the same, so I've only had a couple of birthdays with cake in the last ten years! And one of those was decorated by my best friend's kids whom I used to child-mind - so it was more a work of heart than art... And bought is not worth buying, in my book...
A2 base, papers are Basic Grey Two Scoops.
I stamped the Rubber Romance image on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks and H2Os. After masking her off I stamped the background with a Studio G stamp and added lines to make it look like tiles. The sentiment is HA.
I cut the scallops twice, once from pink Bazzill and once from the spotted paper, and scored them. They're glued to the card base at the top but popped up on two layers of foam at the bottom to give dimension. I also added some Liquid Pearls...

The pastel colors and dots are so, so pretty, Sabrina! I love it when you (and Pat!) use this Rubber Romance image. Beautifully done with the dimensional scallops at the top, this makes me think of a scrumptious bakery with awning!

Every birthday girl (you included) needs someone to bake their birthday cake for them. Eula will enjoy not only the cake but the presentation as well lol.

I know what you mean about fresh baking, just doesnt compare at all with boughten, and especially if the ma-ma made it...so sorry for that loss must have been so hard. Eula will love this scrumptios cake too...less calories, then again at 110 maybe one doesnt need to count anymore. Love yoru little canopy over this pretty baker too...very cute...TFS..:0)

Your card is like looking into an elegant French pastry shop window, Sabrina. Sophisticated "baker", lovely polka dot awning and a wonderfully warm sentiment.
