Our StampinB challenge this week was made by Nancyruth to create a card with a spring scene.
I have a new SU set that I think is so adorable. I LOVE to watch birds in bird baths, so this stamp really appealed to me. Plus, they are so cute. I love the bird flying toward the bath.
I didn't do too much to fancy up the image and image panel as I thought the image should be the focal point. I just colored with copics and added a few sparkly stickles to the water drops which you can't see in photo. I kept the design simple since the sentiment is "enjoy the simple things in life"! Am I smart or what - NOT!
I added some filigree brads which I continue to hoard and placed rhinestones on top of each one and a ribbon.

Oooh and Awwww, what a sweet card..you know I love that image. Seeing the birds splash in the water on a hot day is so fun. Love your dp, ribbons, and brads...all go together beautifully.
I would love to have a 'simple' day but don't think it will happen. LOL

Love that you kept it simple with this adorable image. This set is on my list, but I think you've convinced me that I should buy it. Love your pretty filigree brads, too.
Thanks, My Friend, for your sweet comments. As you can see, I've been struggling with the photo quality of my cards. For that matter, I think I've actually lost my mojo and hope to recover it soon. My cards lately are just so flat and blah to me.

Such a cute card! Love the DP you used and that image is too cute. Can't have one of them in our back yard or we would have a very fat cat LOL! Lovely touch with the listening devices (aka: filigree brads).

Oh this image is just so cute Pamzi. I was given a bird bath just like this one recently. The background paper you used is just gorgeous on this and look at those cute flower embellishments. You are one smart cookie too keeping it simple to go with your sentiment. Love it!
