When I first saw today's TLC, I thought it would take me forever to pull together the three requirements for the technique, the colors, and the layout, but honestly this was one of the fastest cards I've ever put together! I didn't have the exact colors required for the color part, but since we were allowed to fudge a bit I used cranberry crisp and river rock. I never would have thought to put them together, espcecially as they were from different years, but I really like the way they look together.
I'd never done with baby-wipe thing before. I have a 2 year old so I have them in just about every room in the house, so I really have no excuse! Once I made my pad, I filled one side up with cranberry drops and the other with the river rock. Then when I put it to paper I pushed down, then twisted, and kept doing that in little rows.
I had fun with this one... may have to try another later this afternoon!
