Challenge was an inspiration challenge, based on some Michael Miller fabric. When I saw the fabric, I saw tiles, then I noticed the colors, then I looked more closely at the motifs in the 'tiles'. The large floral motifs had some similar elements to the square motif in Baroque Motifs, so I decided to create my own tiled background using that stamp.
I used a Scor-Pal to score the 'grout' lines. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the placement of each motif, after inking the stamp with Groovy Guava and using a Ruby Red Marker to color the 'V' shapes and center circles on the stamp. For inking stamps with multiple colors, I prefer to use markers only, but SU does not make markers for the In Colors. All the white layers were sponged with Barely Banana to add texture and warmth.
Sprinkle is up on dimensionals. DH says she looks like a peacock.
