TLC177 joker birthday grid

This is my submission for today's grid technique challenge. I don't have a scor-pal so I used an embossing tool and paper cutter. I am not really happy with the way it scored the grid but it's all I had to work with. I scored the horizontal lines every 1/4 inch, and the vertical every 1/2 inch. I started to try a traditional basket weave with the ribbon square but after playing with it, I decided I liked the feathery look of this. The 3 little gifts are from the lively little ones set.

Just beautiful. The green band is the perfect accent, it really pops. And the ribbon weaving is just marvelous. Great job with the challenge.
