Hallelujah, I finally got my preview stuff!
I made this card for a swap with the theme "Something Old, Something New". I call this my "Tribute to Grandmas". I used some old embroidered trim and silk flowers from a large stash I inherited from a dear friend's grandmother (she was a very crafty lady and a dear friend of mine too). Grandma Rose would have loved seeing me use her stuff - and she would have loved this art we do too (and would have been quite good at it herself). So this is my tribute to all our artistic & crafty grandma's who sewed and decorated and baked and taught us all how to appreciate the beauty in handmade things.

Love your story and how you tied it in with your card. Grandmother's are a wonderful gift. I'm lucky enough to still have both of mine and cherish them every day!
