I made this card for a fellow co-worker and his wife who are having a widdo baby boy!
This is my Story:
1. You are wondering about the title of this card? Well, the brad looking thingys on this card are actually designer thumb tacs (who'd a thunk!) that I purchased at Office Depot! They came in a box of blue, green, and maybe yellow? Can't remember. Anyway, I thought they would look so cool on a card.
2. Of course in order to get them on this card I had to use a pair of whatchamacallits (a man-tool) to cut off the spike on the back side so I could use Crystal Effects to adhere them to my card!
3. Think about it, when you are working with tiny brads, how many times do you drop them on the floor and try as you might to find them, they are always no where to be found. Then you hear them getting sucked up in the vacuum cleaner!
4. Well, if you drop one of these you best find it because the next thing you know you will have a thumb tac lodged firmly in your bare foot! Mark my words people!
5. You better not drop one on your chair either or those memories of putting a thumb tac on the teachers chair in Elementary School will come to mind while you are in pain!

Just darling! What great colors in those papers. I'm sure your co-worker and his wife will love it. Cool tacks...sure one doesn't fall in your chair before you've used the man-tool on it. That would be tooo painful.

You were either up very early or very late, Cindy... either way this is a terrific card! And what would you know about tacks on teacher's chairs in high school, huh? HUH?!? You are tooooo funny.

Do you need DH to check for injuries? That'd be really funny!
This is super cute, Cindy, and I do hope you didn't sit on a thumbtack today! Perfect card for a baby boy!

This is just darling Cindy. It's amazing everything you go through to make a card. Love those tacks!! They're real purty!! Even if they are dangerous to the card maker. Awesome card!

you mean you didn't sit on it ..... I thought you might have for a while there LOL .... pretty card. Normally if I left something like that on the floor ... my DH would probably find it ... in his foot! not a good idea haha
