This is a quick thank you card that I made that is part of a packet of cards that I am sending to a fellow SCSer who is using a bunch of thank you cards. I wanted to make something simple, but pretty.
I saw this fabulous card by CAKath: FS72 CASING the Essence of the 60's by CAKath at Splitcoaststampers. She made this card for Sunday's Featured Stamper challenge, featuring Lost in the 60's. Here is the card that CAKath cased: CC157 Basic Pomegrantes Embrace Life by Lost in the 60's at Splitcoaststampers. I really loved the layout and the simple elegance of the card. Like CAKath, I used the Essence of Love set. I inked up the main image with groovy guava, and used a close to cocoa marker to color the stems and vines. I stamped the image in the corner of the whisper white panel, and then stamped it again to the right of the first image, so that it continued across the bottom of the card. The butterfly was inked up in guava ink and I used the cocoa marker around the edges. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations and was also inked up in guava, the "thanks" was colored with the cocoa marker. I added the three brads down the right side of the panel, it felt like something needed to be in that space. I matted the whisper white panel with guava and adhered this to the kraft card base. On the inside of the card, I added a whisper white panel for writing.
Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a fabulous day!

Gosh, This is so beautiful! I also appreciate all your instructions on how you made the card. It gives me the courage to try something like this myself! Into my favs it goes. Now, I have to move the sleeping cat OFF the craft table so I can give this a whirl!
