I was asked to turn a mis-cut fabric square from someone's teacher gift / quilt project into a card. I cut the needle point poem out of the panel, mounted it on chipboard and made a 3D frame card for it (that's what I call it anyway). The frame is 1/4" thick because of all of the backing on the material. I followed the theme of the quilt which was patriotic with stars and fireworks - I think it turned out alright - the recipient seemed to enjoy it. The poem says, "A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in the pupils. ~Ever Garrison"
