 | | Here is my card for hostess challenge we received. We were to make a card based upon the cover of a book to go along with our new VSN book club theme. I could NOT come up with a grown-up book that I really like the cover. My mind just kept coming back to this book, so I finally gave in and used it. I REALLY like the way it turned out!
I did a lot of sponging on this card to get depth in the colors. I don't usually do this a whole lot, but I read Markie's Mom's blog almost daily and LOVE the way her cards turn out! She does LOTS of sponging, so I thought I'd give it a try!
