I made this card for my long-time friend, Lauri. She and I have known each other since 1st grade. She's a few months older than me, so I get to kid her about being my older friend. I hope she enjoys this card.
Today's Inspiration Challenge featured ads with a mixture of patterns. I chose to work with the Afternoon Tea DP...love that paper! I started with the stripe and pulled all the other color blocks from there.
This card is a case of a beautiful card made by Pickle Tree that can be seen here: SEI DREAM
I changed the colors, ribbon, paper, and added some scallops. Mine also has less layers and would look alot better if it had more like her card. Pickle Tree's gallery is amazingly awesome....you should really check it out, if you haven't already. If that girl's not a designer....she sure should be!

Beautiful job Leisa! Great job on the DSP combo, love your image, the eyelets and that sweet butterfly.

Oh, I love your card!!! The colors and patterns intermixed are great. Your eyelets look very nice, and I like how you have the flowers stamped in guava off to the side - it adds more interest. Very lovely card!
