A family friend celebrated her birthday last week, and this altered frame was part of her gift from us. Isn't it cool? (Yep, I'm patting myself on the back. LOL!)
I covered a Michael's $1 wooden frame with BasicGrey designer paper using Mod Podge. (The edges were painted with acrylic paint first.) When the Mod Podge was dry, I sanded the edges to bring out the paper's white core. I applied a thin layer of Mod Podge to seal it, too. Once dry, I added the Felt Fusion. Before sticking it on there, though, I randomly added gemstone brads to it for a little added eye candy. You have to have some patience, though, when working with Felt Fusion. You can't just peel off the backing and lay it down. It wants to stick to itself, so just peel a little at a time. Taking your time is so worth it though, because it looks so cool.
Anyway, back to the frame. I added a pretty flower rub-on and highlighted the flowers' centers with Twinkle Stickers. I then stamped the sentiment with Basic Black ink onto Whisper White cs and added the Real Red Inkadinkado bird.
I almost didn't give it away because I like it so much. Hmmmm, I guess I'll have to make one for myself now.
