My 8 year old son and I made this card together. I did all the cutting, but he picked the design and the stamp. I heat embossed the bird with black craft ink and black ep. He colored it with close to cocoa and rose red.
The card is set on bashful blue, the cb panel is glorious green. The back panels of the bird are rose red and ballet blue on whisper white.
I think my son did a great job for his first card.

I think your son did a great job too! Like Mother, like child they say... and I find it true most of the time. We as Moms can help develop their creativity and artistic expression all through their lives. I always loved doing art projects with my Mom and I know that helped me develop a love for many artistic expressions! I'd say your son has great talent and should use it all he can!

Tell your son this is a GREAT job. I think he has real talent and should help Mom with cards more often. I think he really has an eye for color, too. Wow . . . at only 8 years old. Just imagine how good he will get at this . . . hmm, another Tim Holtz in the making?!
