I flipped the original sketch to accommodate my stamped image. The dresses are partially paper pieced as well as the cafe awning. I added side windows to act as display shelves for the cafe fare. The little poodle and sentiment are cut out and popped up. The flower is punched. I'm not extremely happy with the way this came out, but I spent too much time on it not to post it. I think it will serve as a lesson of what not to do, oh well.

Oh Wendy!! We really are our own harshest critics!! You are making me laugh - with your comment that this is what not to do!! I think not!! I think this scene is just darling!!! I love the colouring in your lovely MFT scene - beautifully done -and that little dog is just so sweet - I think it's perfect.. let me tell you - I almost regretted posting my last card - I thought - oh man it looks so bad.. but then it grew on me...your is lovely!!
