This week's Way To Use It challlenge was to use scissors. This is something I love to do; it must be a throwback to paper dolls or something, because I love to cut out all my little stamped images and create scenes with them.
This card is for my son's 12th birthday today. He loves animals of any kind, so I know he will appreciate this card.
I stamped, WC'd and masked my animals and safari girl, and added the foilage (I just love the different leaves, branches and vines from this set) and BG sky and ground. I stamped the lion, monkey, and some of the leaves and cut out portions of them that I wanted to stand out, added them to the original image with glue dots. I painted in lines for trees. I then mounted my main panel on DP and pinked around the edges. The third panel is paper pierced. The sentiment are various words cut out of the phrases from this MFT stamp set. They are then mounted on DP and popped up. TFL

Very cool! It sure looks like you spent a lot of time working on this. Making scenes might have been play when you were little but now it is art! Great imagination.

Fantastic Card!! I'm in total agreement with Treena (ink-outside-the-box)... It looks like you spent a lot of time(and had a lot of fun) putting all this together.
Wonderful colors and nice touch with the pop-up words.
Your Son will love it!!
