This is my More is More version of the iris card. I adore florals and when I saw this stamp set from Flourishes, it just begged me to play! And, can you believe it, I didn't have an Iris stamp. I decided to go back to my old roots (not my hair . . . LOL), and pulled out my Prisma pencils. I thoroughly enjoyed painting with my pencils and look forward to doing many more cards in different colors . . . I'm thinking of gorgeous yellow irises.
The side panel was stamped with the palm tree from SU's retired Balmy Breezes. I colored the stamp with the More Mustard marker and then highlighted it with Old Olive and Close to Cocoa. I stamped that several times on a piece of very vanilla. I then used the Bamboo background stamp from Rubbernecker by coloring it with my markers as well using More Mustard and Old Olive and stamped over the palm trees. The vertical bamboo strip was stamped using a stamp from InQue's Tropicals stamp set. The large leaves at the bottom of the iris are also from the InQue Tropicals set. The sentiment is from the Flourishes Mother's Day set that featured the gorgeous iris.

This is amazing!!! Your coloring is so perfect and what you've done to jazz this card up is totally AWESOME!!! Though I must say I like both cards equally as well -- the less card just screams elegance!!! Both just gorgeous!!!
