I made this for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge found here Blogs at Splitcoaststampers . This week's challenge was to use color blocking as a background on your card. I always love the look of color blocking.
I chose bright, cheery colors since I am ready for Summer (yes, Summer! Spring is too late arriving here in the Midwest).
I used stamps from Papertrey Ink's set called Shapes By Design. Don't you just love the image that I stamped on the ribbon? I think it's my favorite from the set. I love how you can customize the colors inside the shape. The little black accents in the corners are actually Nail Jewels I found on clearance long ago.

What a great card!!! I love the vivid geometrics going on!!! The image you stamped on the ribbon IS wonderful!!! Your colors are great and so is your layout/design!!! This is a super example!!! I am so glad you played -- thanks so much!!!

Did you see me stand up and applaud you out loud?!!! Wowee! I love the colour blocking, the coordinating ribbon strip and the sentiments in each square.
