The LSC this week is to create using embellishments that you purchased or were given that have for some reason been neglected. I have bins full "special value" ribbon and it's very embarrassing! I mean how many cards can one design using red, orange, and yo yo yellow? Well, here's my first! My goal is to use the whole spool by the end of the week too. After all, I can use the orange and lemon slice and the apple in this SU set with this ribbon!!!
I've been studying the clean and simple designs in the gallery lately. Today was the day to be brave and try it myself. The image was stamped and misted using the marker mist technique. You ink an image with a marker directly on the rubber, give it a slight mist and then stamp! It's a great technique for me because I don't quite have the shading technique perfected!
Bold Ribbon with simplicity? I'm not sure if it works, but . . .
thanx for looking!

I got a chuckle when I read this, as I have several ribbons that are multi-colored as well!! Very cute -- I love the simplicity and how the green sentiment highlights the stems!
(Fruit is good for you! lol)

This is a great little card.....and I agree with you. You could use that ribbon with various fruits....It's one of those cards that are really simple, but just adorable....Love it!
