This was purely using up scraps. Sponged Really Rust around the edges of the DP. Felt like it needed something else so fell back to my old reliable "Texas" stamp and randomly decorated the DP using Close to Coco. Colored the boot with markers and cut it out. Punched two different sized scalloped circles and glued the boot to the smallest one. Then adhered that to the larger scalloped circle and mounted it with pop dots. Embellished the scallops with a brown marker and the spur with a silver pen. Punched Texas shapes from a strip of scrap brown and made the corners as well. Added jute on each side of the Texas punched strip of brown and made a sort of knot tie to add interest.

Your Texas stamped all over this DP is great, as is the boot. I think I bought some of this DP today. You know how I am--had to do my H/L thing after bowling. But I was good. All I bought was paper (since they still don't have my d...... burd)
