My Mom died a few weeks ago and I'm just now getting to the task of writing thank you notes for flowers and help that was given during the past few weeks. My Mom's favorite flower was Lily of the Valley and I had a stamp I bought a few years back that I used to make some notes for her. While there are no shamrocks in this card, the greens in the quilt that was today's Inspiration Challenge piece are so full of Spring and Hope that incorporating them into this simple card featuring one of Spring's sweetest flowers seemed just right.

What a wonderful thought to use your Mom's favorite flower on your thank you notes! She would be so happy to have you do that. This is one very lovely card. I am so sorry to read about your loss: loosing one's mother is never an easy thing to experience and learn to accept.
