limited supplies challenge, I had scraps from this week's earlier cards...and instructions to go smaller...
I am mailing this card today as a surprise. I hope she likes it! I used an image from the very neat Birthdays Instant Memories book which has a CD of the art. I have used this girl on several cards...adorable! She is on a background of K&co papers, the purple/white stripe is in a Wedding Group, I cuttlebugged the bg with the Allegro folder. The base itself and the strip of butterflies is the Urban Rhapsody double sided very hip line new now. I added stickles to the pink butterfly winds. My sentiment is from Micheals...thanks Kristie!!!...a neat little birthday set...love that font. I stamped in Versacolor black and embossed in clear. I also dotted my borders...wow, Faith do you freehand your lines or what? definitely not as easy as it looks! I finished with a lavender ribbon from Martha and a wish ticket which I stamped on the back side of a coupon my son had gotten recently...repurposed! I stamped in same black as HB. I attached the ticket with a flower brad from MM.
I enjoyed making a smaller card and want to experiement with it again. Happy Weekend, Ya'll...thanks for looking at my card! It's a secret!!!
