Thanks Stephanie for a very cool inspiration challenge. I decided on a more literal interpretation. My card base is GP white which I CB'ed with the distressed stripes. My room walls are Su's soft sky. My villa (refrigerator) is from A Stamp in the Hand Architectural Elements. I stamped this in Adirondack lettuce and embossed in clear. The backboard is from Michelle Ward's Physical Graffiti inked in Brilliance Moonlight White/ep'ed in seafoam Ranger ep. The adirondak chair is from RiverCity Rubber um, stamped in Tim Holtz distress tattered rose on 3 Bugs in a Rug, Groovy HotPants (can you dig it?!). I created the carpet from a Rubber Moon rug stamp using the famous Costco pack of last year. I stamped this in Adirondack latte and embossed in clear. My baskets are also from RiverCity Rubber um stamped on cream cs with TH straw ink. I used vintage velvet flowers, yellow scrap from the Fiskars lace punch for the lemons, and the flower out of SU ART of Life for the white element in the basket. My wooden floor was created from a plank paper unmarked, but bought at jo's. The birdie at the tip top of my Villa is Scenic Route Laurel Strip. And the piece de la resistance is the Emerson quote(Rubber Soul), "THE ORNAMENT OF A HOUSE IS THE FRIENDS WHO FREQUENT IT" So true, whether a Italian Villa or the Villa de Trailer, our homes should always be places our friends find rest, don't you agree?

I agree with Betty! This card is just fascinating. The idea of doing something like this flittered through my mind, but didn't land anywhere because I dismissed it as too complicated. You took the complications and made them delicious!

Susan, is this ever spectacular! Your artistic persuasion has so much depth. I would love to see your home: It must be so artistic! Love your details: They're so 'inspiring.' Look at that hardwood floor, and the blanket with the basket. I could just see myself sitting down and having a picnic with you! It's simply stellar!
