sorry, I couldn't resist, I knew when I bought this stamp yesterday, it would come in handy one day...I just didn't know it would be so soon! Thanks Jen, for a very challenging challenge. It took me all the way back to the 60's when my 3rd grade teacher told my parents I should be broken from writing left handed (my grandfather actually thought it was the devils' work)! I'm certainly glad I was a stubborn child...and developed my own unique style....must be that left brain artistic side...
Anyway, don't ya just love Ernestine? I think she'd be right on uping the What'zzzz up'ers. I stamped her onto white sc with Tim Holtz distress black soot and embossed in clear...gave her lips a kiss of red marker. This stamp is from Viva Las Vegas. My fab notepad complete with ball point pen is a Graphic Rubber Stamp inked as above. The really cute ink bottle and spill is part of an Invoke Arts um set called Pens and Nibs. It actually says Carters Black Letter Ink on the bottle...well now, I couldn't have any non matchey accessories! I used Chalkbox Lipstick Red and again embossed in clear. My arrows are cut from a Scenic Route strip paper and the metal red is from 7 gypsies. I layered Ernestine with unknown red cs and checked. My scalloped and flourished and line notebook paper is by MM. Now if I had had paper as prudy as that back in 3rd grade, who nows where I would be....Thanks so much for your comments and here's to all those wonderful cursive instructors! I salute your patience
