| | I used the splitcoast gallery for this idea and didn't write down who I RAKd it from - sorry. It's an eagle from an old Birds set. The Eagle was stamped first and masked and a circle mask cut and putover the eagle. I then just daubered on the SU Mustard and Old Olive. The voliage is all Stampscapes - Leafless Limb and Tropical Tree. The eagle's colored in with SU markers Close to Cocoa, Really Rust and Mustard. The sun is daubered with So Saffron. This was fun. I also dragged the black strip in a Metallic Gold and used the Stampscapes Oak Tree as a background in Versamark and brushed Pearlex on the Versamark - hard to see but it adds a sheen to the background. Nice masculine card. I made several. I work for a non-profit and sell as many cards as I can, donating the money to the organization. Ibuy 6 bar envelopes in bulk, this card measuresa bit under 6 1/2 x 9 3/4 to fit the envelopes. I also mount all my cards on plain white cardstock I pick up at Walmart. |
