I made this card for the weekly color challenge CC154. This card represents a couple of "firsts" for me. This is the first time I have used my brand new, very first set of Hanna stamps! I have to admit I was nervous about even inking them up since I have been a wood block and red rubber girl up until now, but I loved it! Also, I got a Cuttlebug this weekend, so this is the first card that I have used it on...also very exciting for me. Just reading that makes me realize that maybe I need to get out more....
I stamped the purse image using pumpkin ink on the pumpkin cardstock, then ran the orchid cardstock through the cuttlebug with the A2 embossing folder "Spots and Dots". I sponged orchid ink over the cardstock to bring up the pattern a bit afterward.
I stamped Hanna on Whisper White cardstock, then colored her in using ink pads and an aquapainter, and I paper-pieced her dress using the Certainly Celery DSP pack. I added stickles to the straps of her shoes and to her Tiffany bag straps, although it is difficult to see in the picture but really cute in person. Finally, I finished it off with a rub-on from the "Love and Happiness" set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
I can't wait to use my Hanna some more and add many more to my collection! This was a lot of fun. Thanks for looking!
