I made this little 'treasure box' for my 4 year old grandson...it was part of his valentine gift bag. We refer to my grandson as our 'calebug'...so the 'LOVE BUG' stamp set from Paper Pretties worked perfectly for this project. My grandson loves all things bright, cheerful, and unique in design and character...therefore I colored the little bug with bright colors using Copic Markers...I then used my Clear Spica Glitter Pen on a few areas to give it some sparkle, added a bit of polka dot ribbon and a sparkly brad. Finally I attached the finished 'card' to the inside of the tin box with permanent Redliner tape. The little tin box was found in the dollar spot at Target and originally had a 'race car theme'...so I covered it with bright paper I had purchased last year from TAC. The outside may be gaudy looking to most of us, but my grandson loves rhinestones so I added a ton of them to the outside lid along with the letters that came from the TAC package for spelling out his name. In the end...my grandson was thrilled with his 'treasure box' , wanted to know, 'how did you make him sparkle' and plans to keep his 'most special rocks' in it...once the candy is eaten, of course....which didn't take long at all...LOL. Oh well...this isn't a big deal, but I wanted to add it to my gallery anyway. TFL
