This is a card I did for a swap. I really liked the "Infinite Goodness" set the first time I saw it, and I really love it now that I have had a chance to play with it some. It really lends itself to watercoloring very well.
I started by swiping the old olive cardstock across the same color pad randomly to give the paper some "texture". Then I embossed the dragonflies onto that same sheet. For my pears, I used the masking technique to stamp them, then put different layers of color on with the WCW pencils. After I had all the colors on I used the aquapainter to blend them to the shade I wanted.
I wanted to draw more of the burgundy color around the pears so I sponged the edges of the cardstock with that and old olive.
I also carried a little of the eggplant color onto the pear to help balance all the gold.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!
