My sister's friend accidentally purchased two copies of a 'Benni Harper' paperback. Since I did not have it yet, she was willing to give one of them to me. My sister sent it to me. This card is to thank her for the book. I have never met Betty, but she sounds like a terrific lady!
I just had to use my new Julia Loves to Read stamp from Rubber Romance. She is colored with Prismacolor pencils and I paper-pieced her dress, handbag, and book. My sister told me that Betty wears red a lot, so I assume that Betty likes red and I made Julia's dress out of the red patterned paper. I have trouble working with red, but I like how this card turned out.

Wow! Beautiful job on the paper peicing. Love how her dress matches your bg! Beautiful!
