I had fun with this paper folding. Up until about 5 years ago, almost all my cards were made with tea bag folding techniques. Then I was introduced to S.U. and stamping. Dahlia's remind me of my mother who used to grow huge dinner plate sized dahlias in the middle of our vegetable garden when i was growing up.
Does anyone else have the same problem as me? After I glue the petals together, there is always a space left over. Well, I'll have to keep on practising. After I scanned this, I realized the centers of the jewels were bare, so I added a touch of skickle to the centers but they are still drying and I want to upload this card, so just use your imagination!

OOH, pretty!
Yes, I had the same problem with a leftover space; I tried to reposition a few of the pieces but next time I won't try to put them so close together! I have no idea how to finish the card, so here I am looking for inspiration; this is really a nice card!

I love your color choice. I had problems with the gaps too. That's why I put one of my sentiment words where I did! Sure is funny when we find out all the things we seemed to all try to hide!!
