The challenge was to stamp the main image on black card stock. Love would certainly be a topic of conversation during a Girl's Night Out, so I thought this image fit the bill for the challenge. I also tried to bling it up as much as I could, since isn't that what Girl's Night Out is all about?!! Thanks for looking, and thanks to Jennifer (badger-girl) for a really fun challenge!
Oh, I almost forgot that I had a bit of a "medical emergency" while making this card. In my haste to get this done in the 45 minutes alloted, and while cutting off the prongs of the heart brad, the scissors I was using also chopped through the inside pad on my left index finger. I screamed, DH came running, I told him to hurry up and patch it up because I had to finish my project! Needless to say there were blood splatters everywhere (I'm kind of a drama queen when it comes to blood). But thank goodness none of them got on my cards!!! Taking one for the team . . . hope I don't need a tetanus shot. If I do, it'll have to wait until AFTER the VSN!

Very cute card! I really love how it all came together. Sorry to read that you got hurt while creating it! Don't feel bad, 3 weeks ago while cutting 5 sheets of cardstock on my Fiskars tabletop cutter, the round blade came out and sliced my hand. I ended up with 6 stitches from that one!

just got this set - I love this card - been intrigued by the set, but not found inspiration until now!! I had to go back and look after I started reading about your finger - I thought you were going to say you had incoorperated the blood stains into the hearts or something... hope you are feeling ok and it doesn't impede your stamping!!

This card is great! Love the colors, the layout, and all the wonderful details you incorporated. Love your story, too... hope your finger is feeling better. Glad your card was spared!
