This is my Monday challenge card with a small group of goofy friends. Every second Monday we make cards to honor someone with a catchy SCS name. Today that person is Shelly (papermoon04).
The requirements? We had to make a card in grays, white was okay, no black and it had to have a moon on it. Oh yeah...we were to use a hint of neon orange too!
This is my story:
1. Some of the others did not use neon orange. At least I play by the rules, the neon orange rules!
2. Shelly was married on October 1st. All of the men involved in her special day were miffed because that is opening day of hunting season. The nerve of that girl!
3. Shelly was so in love with Mr. Papermoon that she agreed to get married in the mountains, in camouflage, with an agreement that right after the *you may kiss the bride* part, her hubby could jump in the jeep and go!
4. She even changed her wedding colors. The only thing she refused to do was to wear the neon orange shawl her mom got her for her safety! She wanted her bare shoulders to show!
5. I fear for the little deer in the background, Mr. Papermoon might not even have to jump in the jeep! His rifle is in the bush next to him!
Note to the photographer: I am so disappointed you didn't catch the true neon of the orange. It's way neon!
Thank you artystamper for the Bella (shellybella) image! Thank you Tosh for the bunny butts!

Well - what can you say after a story like that!! Love the paper piecing on the outfits - great background forest and moon perched on the corner! great job with rather strange colors!

Don't be so hard on your photographer. Looks very neon orange at my house. This is a hoot. Love the camo gear. I'm sure Shelly is going to be very proud of this story. It truly is a pretty card!

Nice card! I got a good laugh since it could have easily been my sister, but they chose a July date. I like the depth of the trees peeking out at the top.
