This card was for my DD's 19th birthday last week. I cased this from another SCS member flaxychick. Her card was much more detailed, but I was limited as I wanted to make this the standard sized card for mailing. You can see her fabulous design here: Beach Day by flaxychick at Splitcoaststampers
I used my Cuttlebug to create my "sand" effect and just cut some flip-flops freehand. The beach ball was a picture taken from the internet that I cut out.
The palm trees were made by stamping the leaf sketch from "Simple Sketches" onto celery paper and distressing the edges with olive ink.
The coconut centers were made with the flower center from Mixed Bouquet stamped in brown ink.

I am heading for Florida early next month and I am hoping for better weather than today's which is 40 with snow showers.
So not ready for winter and would rather be looking at palm trees and warm beaches.
