Just because I wanna, I stamped the flowers in Groovy Guava and cut them out so I could layer them on the smaller panel of River Rock Sand paper. I havenÂ’t sewn all week, so I just couldnÂ’t help myself – had to break out the sewing machine. Not only that, but I just so needed to do a little sponging along the edges of the Apple Cider paper. The centers of the flowers are made by sponging a bit of Groovy Guava on Whisper White and then stamping on the small elements from this set in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I punched them out using the ½” circle punch, mounting them on River Rock and then punching those out with a 3/4″ circle punch. The middle flower and all the centers are raised with mounting tape. The card measures 5.5 x 5.5.
Man, Sherry! You can make a masterpiece out of anything you get your hands on. I love it that you took a very feminine set and used it with the Apple Cider DP. I love every tiny little detail right down to the last sponge spot on the flowers. I had to sit and look for a long time just to take everything in. You are so talented with card design. I sat and looked at the set for a long time yesterday and went .........huh???? Maybe when we get together in Ohio.....I can stand between you and Jeanne and have you both touch me at the same time and some of that great layout and design talent will pour into me. I think I remember someone saying that to me a few months ago on another technique. Brother....like you needed any help. But as you well know.... I really do!

Wow...great card. Love the colors, and all the different elements and layers!
