This card was commissioned by a friend of mine. I made it to her specifications and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. She wanted a sweet pea in a peapod idea, with a pink and green colour scheme. I didn't have a pea-baby stamp like this, so I drew one on the computer using my word processing program. When it was printed off I traced it with a black pen to make it look less computer-y.
The sentiment, also requested, was stamped with stazon on shrink plastic. I coloured the image with SU pastels. The paper is coordinating patterned paper, can't remember the maker, but I got it at Michael's some time ago.
The card was for a 1st birthday, so I stamped the cupcake from Year-Round Fun II, cut it out, and attached it with a dimensional. The flame is highlighted with yellow stickles. I used my mini-flower punch (from Impress Rubber Stamps) to make the hands. It's one flower punched and cut in half, and outlined.
I love a creative challenge and this was a hard card to part with

Very inventive card. I love it! This one is going in my favorites, for sure. I love the idea of cutting the little flower in half. That trim is so pretty. Great job!
