Cammie has a fun gallery and I found several cards that I would enjoy casing for this week's featured stamper challenge. I decided to go with this one: CK FS04 Delightfully inspired by Atomic butterfly by Cammie at Splitcoaststampers, since I wanted to use my new Wanted & Bronc Buster sets and thought this would work well. Cammie had cased Atomic ButterflyÂ’s card: CC89 by atomicbutterfly at Splitcoaststampers.
I pretty much stayed with CammieÂ’s layout, but used a square card since my main sentiment image was larger than the Delight in Life that Cammie used.
I watercolored the Genuine image, and used a Creative Memories corner punch on the image and Artichoke layer. The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals. I cut out the star from the Wanted set and used a pop dot to raise it up a little. Also stamped a few more stars on the dp using Moss. I stamped the torn Vanilla strip using the my new Sanded bg stamp in Cranberry Crisp and So Saffron. I brayered the lower panel with So Saffron, then Cranberry Crisp, then using both the SU Linen and Canvas bg stamps to texturize it to match the textured look of the dp. I also inked the edges of the dp using Cocoa and Ruby Red Craft inkspots. Artichoke ribbon slide was made with a Cuttlebug diecut. Artichoke strip stamped in Artichoke with Canvas bg. Vanilla circle on the ribbon darkened up using a few different colors of chalks.
