Oh yes, the beach, my most favorite place.... and here is a card that is a tribute to the wonderful beaches in the world.
I cuttled the background in swirls and did direct to paper ink in black mica magic. It is not as dark as basic black and looks a little softer. The palm tree scene is dry embossed on vellum cardstock, and I used that tool that looks like a little pastry cutter to edge the panel. The flip flops are embossed in marcasite ep, the tag is edged with Martha Stewarts lace punch. I hope you like my tropical happiness! TFL.

Gorgeous card! Like the soft color with the black accents, the embossed trees and flip flops -- all great! The beach is my favorite place, too. One more month until the tropics!

I'm not a beach-comber, but I love this card! The flip flops are a hoot. How clever to use the little tool to do the edges. I'll have to try that. And I like that you used a softer black to distress the cb background. TFS.
