I turned to one of my old favorites for inspiration last night, Dave Matthews. With Dave groovin in the background, singing about living life and love, I pulled out Delight in Life and started creating.
I had discovered some chalks in my husband's Art Bin and pulled them up to my stamping room to mess around with. So the focal image is stamped in VersaMark and then chalked. The sentiment was embossed with Black Powder to help make it pop against the background.
The card base was stamped in Lavendar Lace with Fine Lace, and then the flowers were stamped with Craft Whisper White. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey and it's mounted on Certainly Celery CS, which is sponged around the edges with Pink Passion.

This is gorgeous! I like the colors on the striped paper & chalked image. I also like how the black sentiment stands out. This is great (I'll try to try turning on a little Dave next time, if this is the kind of work he inspires!).
