Shelli showed us this new way to use the Floral BG stamp at the MPLS regional. Use markers to color in the roses/leaves. I thought it would make a great card, and the sketch challenge this week seemed an ideal layout to try it on.
I used sahara sand on linen BG then markere'd the floral BG for the card base.
I used sahara sand on the Floral for the artichoke layer. It lightened up quite a bit after the ink dried.
I used sahara sand and the markers on th Floral BG for the middle layer distressed the edges and curled the corners.
I just used the markers on the top layer. distressed those edges too.
finished it off with some eyelets and organdy.
