Hooray! FINALLY am using the Basic Grey paper I purchased last fall. I still really love this paper ... such fun colors ... but I struggle using it on my cards! Today's challenge was the *perfect* reason to cut into it.
Using Cranberry Crisp ink, I stamped the Linen background on the Cranberry Crisp strip in the middle of the card and also on the Marigold Morning portion at the bottom. (This helps match up the solid paper to the BG patterned paper.)
Sentiment was stamped using Cranberry Crisp ink.
Mustard ribbon was dragged through the Cranberry Crisp ink a few times to dirty it up. It seemed too stark to put on the card as it was.
A bit of paper piercing on the bottom of the cranberry strip and also along the two sides and bottom of the marigold portion.
Thanks for looking!

Super card! That Basic Grey is one of my favorites - I've had it since last winter and finally just made myself use it instead of just hoarding it! lol
