My first attempt at a Bitty Book. It's not hard, just time consuming! I cut each piece separately and glued them to each panel. The channels between panels were colored with the broad end of a Close to Cocoa marker. All edges were sponged with Close to Cocoa. All the brads are Pretty in Pink. The insides of the book covers are lined with, the chipboard circle under the "daisy" and inside the square label holder all use the small gray argyle from the Rebecca series. The chipboard heart is covered with the distressed brown from the Spring flowers series.
Thank goodness I read the this weeks' tutorial and used the sanding blocks to get the perfect fit -- those things rock!
What you can't see: The spine of the book has rose and chocolate grosgrain ribbon threaded through a double spiral clip from the copper hodgepodge kit. The summer "cloud" on the front of the book is clear embossed in Chocolate Chip, then overlaid with Linen in Sahara Sand, then stamped with the scatter pattern from Itty Bitty Backgrounds in white craft and stamped off Close to Cocoa. Under the word "summer" is the color "zigzag" from A to Z Accents. The spine of the cover has "{dream}" clear embossed in Chocolate Chip on the gray argyle paper and is under a rectangular label holder covered with the distressed dark brown paper.
